Vera’s story is indeed a poignant one, and it’s fascinating to hear how her spirit continues to interact through various mediums. It seems that Vera has found a way to remain a positive presence, even beyond the boundaries of the physical world.
Vera’s family hails from the enchanting Victorian era, a time of opulence, grace, and intricate fashion. Here’s a glimpse into her life:
Vera's mother was Florence (Flossie), born in 1882. Her achievements: Flossie was a trailblazer in her family. She became the first woman to attend college, graduating from Tufts University in 1904. Her determination and intelligence led her to work for the State Department of Corporations and Taxation until her retirement in 1947. Beliefs: Flossie was a true believer in women’s rights, advocating for equality and progress. Her strong convictions left a lasting impact on her family, including Vera.
Vera's Father: The steadfast patriarch of the family, whose name and profession remain shrouded in mystery. His presence exudes stability and responsibility.
Vera's Older Sister: Velma. A spirited young woman, eager to explore life beyond the confines of tradition. Her dreams and aspirations mirror the changing times, and she embodies the evolving role of women during the late 1800s.
Vera was the baby of the family. Born in the lush greenery of New Hampshire in the 1890s, Vera’s spirit radiates kindness and vibrancy. Despite her untimely demise due to pneumonia at the tender age of 15, her essence lives on within the doll that bears her name. Vera has red braids and a soft smile, capturing the innocence and beauty of youth.
Metaphysical Essence: Imbued with high vibrational energies by a gentle witch, Vera’s doll becomes a vessel of healing light and love. She responds well to Ouija boards and tarot cards, bridging the gap between realms.
Vera's Legacy of Strong Women: Grandmother Dee. Vera’s maternal grandmother, Doris (Dee), was born in 1864. She pursued higher education and graduated with a teaching degree in 1882.
Dee shared Flossie’s passion for women’s rights. Her confidence, intelligence, and unwavering beliefs influenced the next generation, including Vera. Interestingly, Dee had a strong aversion to women wearing pants—a fashion statement she disapproved of. She remained steadfast in her traditional attire, never seen in anything other than dresses or skirts.
She gets along well with my other spirit dolls and my cat. She has connected with me through the spirit box and loves to talk about her upbringing and her family. She also does well with the pendulum and Ouija board. Her past is quite interesting.
I received Vera from my sister’s estate as she recently passed. After receiving her, I realized she had a spirit attached to her and I was told her name is Vera.
I think it takes her a bit to feel comfortable in a new living situation. I’m not sure if my sister knew there was a spirit attached to her but she did tell me of strange things that would happen in her house and how her cats always hid. She just thought it was an old house and the cats didn’t like strangers. I believe otherwise. I would love to see her go to someone who has the time to work with her and give her the attention she craves. My sister just displayed her but never talked to her. Her husband knew I collected dolls so gave me her dolls and Vera is one of those dolls.
Vera comes to you in the same condition as I received her so please see pictures.
