Some wear from reading/storage; the binding of volume 1 is separating and coming loose around page 416; a very few pages have some light pencil notes; and the books are ex-library, so they have some library related markings/writings on their inside covers and spines (see pictures). But otherwise, both volumes are in fair shape. Pages are crisp and clean. No torn or missing pages.
