SL-1410…..direct drive, semi automatic operation. This is a multi-voltage device. The pics taken in the sun don’t really do it justice but they clearly show the condition—I’ve included a couple pics from inside as well. On board is an Empire 300 ME cartridge with the correct, original stylus…. this combination sounds pretty damn good. I completely disassembled this machine and did a meticulous deep cleaning...removed/replaced old grease.. cleaned the pots and switches.…added fresh dampening oil..lubricated the spindle..…replaced the electrolytic caps on the power board…and sound/functions tested this for at least an hour or two. Everything works as designed...speeds dial in nicely. Condition is quite nice…the graphite colored base has some chipping and scratches, but the overall look is pretty badass…..the platter has minimal oxidation and remains very bright….the mat is soft and pliable—-there’s a “ripple” in the mat on the outer edge—-not too bad but must be mentioned…all four feet are in good shape... .the cover is very good as well with some scratches and surface swirling—overall appearance is excellent. Taken altogether this is a sweet, fairly rare 1410—multi-voltage capabilities ....…comes ready to play with a quality cartridge …built like a tank.

I will ship, at the buyers expense, utilizing FedEx to any of the contiguous 48 states. I pack with great care and fully insure for shipping. I use double walled heavy duty boxes reinforced with foam board in the corners. Believe me when I say I Don’t want transit damage more than you don’t. Due to the age of this device and the uncertain nature of vintage electronics this device is being sold AS IS with no returns. This is NOT a new machine...as such, it does not come with any guarantee implied or written.

This machine will come partially disassembled. You will need to mount the platter—and the drive belt in belt drive machines—the counterweight..and in some cases the anti-skate weight. DO NOT operate the machine without first properly balancing and setting the appropriate tracking weight. If you do not know how to do this there are tutorials available on YouTube, or you can call me and I’ll walk you through it.
