This Marine radio floats and is rated IPX7 (submerge for 1 meter for 30 minutes).

Everything is new.

Given the vintage of this item, I'm not sure if the Li-Ion battery is still good. However, they are readily available (p/n BP-252). You can also get an alkaline battery case if you don't want to deal with rechargeable batteries.

If you drop the IC-M34 into the water, it comes to the surface so that it can be easily retrieved. The radio has a rugged submersible body equivalent to IPX7 (1m for 30 minutes), but it is not designed to be used under water. It will keep working after it has been submerged.
