SL-D5…..direct drive and fully automatic disc changer system. On board is a new Audio Technica VM95 E cartridge with an elliptical stylus. This combination sounds very good. I completely disassembled this machine and did a meticulous deep cleaning..removed/replaced old sticky grease…cleaned the switches..added fresh dampening oil…..cleaned the speed pot….and sound/functions tested this for at least an hour or two. Everything works as designed. Condition is very good throughout with a few marks on the base(pics)....the platter has a few oxidation spots (pics)..the mat is soft and pliable....the cover is quite good with some surface swirling and scratches—one area above the headshell obviously had something chemical spilled on it——but overall presents quite beautifully….all four feet are very good. Taken altogether this is a solid, fairly rare turntable changer system……comes with a fully functional 33 stacker spindle as well as a single play 33 spindle….new quality—up-gradeable cartridge….fully automatic operation…and it’s built Technics tough.

I will ship, at the buyers expense, utilizing FedEx to any of the contiguous 48 states. I pack with great care and fully insure for shipping. I use double walled heavy duty boxes reinforced with foam board in the corners. Believe me when I say I Don’t want transit damage more than you don’t. Due to the age of this device and the uncertain nature of vintage electronics this device is being sold AS IS with no returns. This is NOT a new machine...as such, it does not come with any guarantee implied or written.

This machine will come partially disassembled. You will need to mount the platter—and the drive belt in belt drive machines—the counterweight..and in some cases the anti-skate weight. DO NOT operate the machine without first properly balancing and setting the appropriate tracking weight. If you do not know how to do this there are tutorials available on YouTube, or you can call me and I’ll walk you through it.
