Please be sure to review all my other auctions after you have looked at this one!  I will be listing a broad and diverse range of vintage communications and technology items, related books, periodicals and ephemera...  Something for everyone!  This is an early example of the final developments of the Western Electric VT-1 Vacuum Tube.   It is display only.  The tube still has a metal base, the recognizable corrugated plates and punched sheet metal grids.  This example represents most of the final developments of the iconic tube...  Internal construction is generally good although the filament is open.  I have tried to take good pictures to indicate the physical condition!   Ask if you have any questions...  If you collect Western Electric vacuum tubes this might be for you!   I will pack all items properly and with great care.  I have been shipping these kind of vintage items worldwide since the late 1980's.
