Summer Savory (Satureja hortensis) is an annual herb that is widely used to season different meats, vegetables, beans, cabbage, sauerkraut, etc. It's also used in combination with other herbs such as Herbes de Provence, a French seasoning. Summer Savory is also known to be used as a home remedy to treat sore throats; in folklore it is known as a sexual aphrodisiac.
