Estate find, David Balfour by Robert Louis Stevenson, published by Charles Scribner's sons, New York, color illustrations by NC Wyeth (all illustrations intact). Book exhibits wear from age, use and storage. Lower corners bow inwards, some chipping, wear and discoloration on cover illustration, original owner affixed Ex Libris bookplate on front endpaper. Inscription dated December 25, 1924 on half title page. Two pages, pg 351-354, were most likely joined from printer & then unevenly cut/torn, presumably by original owner, see last photo in listing. Approx 1/16" x 1/8" white spot on back cover, bumps and edge wear, pages have darkened somewhat from age.

We require insurance for ALL items. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to items while in transit. Shipping cost is an estimate based on weight and size, we will refund any shipping overages $2 & over, paid on domestic shipments. I am always happy to combine shipping on other items I have listed.

Please be aware that you may be subject to import taxes and duties once the merchandise reaches your country.

You should contact your local customs office for further information. Further, you are considered the importer of these goods and are subject to the local laws and regulations. Many countries place restrictions on certain imports while others are banned altogether. Again, please check with you local customs office to determine if the items are subject to any of these before purchasing any item. Any packages that are confiscated or refused by customs are non-refundable just like a refused or non-deliverable package. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but these issues are well beyond anything we can control. Please be aware that we must list the value of an order on the customs form and what its contents are. We cannot declare an incorrect value on your shipment, and all packages must be declared as merchandise, no exceptions. 

Damaged / Lost packages - All packages are the responsibility of the shipping carrier once they leave our store. Any claims must be made through that carrier for damage that occurred during shipping or a lost package. Please make sure to have the tracking or insurance number available in order to process a claim with them.

NO refund will be issued for a package marked as undeliverable or refused at delivery
