The bottom of this Fenton bowl contains cadmium, a glass additive found in older pieces of red, yellow, and orange glass. Cadmium fluoresces yellow under a black light. The black light I’m using for the pictures is a 365, cadmium also fluoresces under 395. This bowl is 7.5 inches in diameter and is 2 inches tall. It has a rather large chip out of the lip, which is pictured. This bowl was produced around the 1970s. This particular bowl is not marked, which is normal for many Fenton pieces. The outer pattern is hobnail.
