Published the year after his death, this book presents the greatest work of one of the most prominent American lawyers of the 19th century. In addition to arguing over 200 cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, and serving in Congress, Daniel Webster served as Secretary of State under Presidents William Henry Harrison, John Tyler, and Millard Fillmore.
