One of the most interesting lamps of Danish design. Charlottenborg was originally designed by Poul Henningsen in the 1930s. In 1979 it was redesigned by Sophus Frandsen and Ebbe Christensen specifically for the Charlottenborg Building in Copenhagen. This smaller version, 5-4½, was created for the concert hall in Aarhus in 1984.

The 4-screen lamp has been designed to increase the amount of light emitted horizontally from the lamp, which results in the better wall and shelf lighting than a regular 3-screen lamp.

The lamp is still produced today by Louis Poulsen, only on request.

The lamp is in good condition, natural traces of time, unfortunately, there is a minor flaws in the lampshades (visible in the photos).
