Beautiful antique child's or young adult, red wool vest embellished with antique embroidered, red roses, wide silk ribbon.  What a wonderful early find! This would be lovely displayed or even worn. This antique wool vest appears to be completely hand stitched. It has hook and eye closures in the front and two loops in embroidery thread sewn on the front inner breast for running a ribbon through and wearing a bow across the front if you wish. The silk embroidered red roses ribbon is simply exquisite and measures slightly under 2" wide. Very good condition, no issues to mention other than a dark spot on the front and slight hardly noticeable one on the opposite front. The wide embroidered silk ribbon is in excellent condition with a few tiny specks showed in the close up photo and a few tiny holes. The antique cotton muslin lining is also in very well, preserved condition with some very tiny pale specks on the inner back area, very hard to find, you'll have to look close.  Overall, very good, clean condition. I did not find any holes within the wool but a few tiny areas that may be thinning ~ very tiny.  Feel free to ask any questions prior to purchasing.  Thank you!
