Sequential Prophet VS
For sale is a rare vintage Sequential Circuits Prophet VS vector synthesis keyboard synthesizer. Included in this sale is a Stereoping CE-1 Controller (super useful for sound design, $500 value) as well as the original manual and Shalebridge V1.45f OS. This synth is in great shape for it's age. Has new upgraded screen which is super easy to read, very bright and legible from all angles (looks even better in person, the pictures don’t do it justice). Everything is working except unfortunately Wave A sound is distorted. The distortion is coming from U441 (CEM 5510). This chip is obsolete and we have not been able to source any replacement options. So we are currently listing this for sale as-is, no warranties, guarantees, refunds or returns due to this issue. If we manage to source a replacement, we will revise the listing and raise the price. It's currently offered at a discounted price.
Winning buyer will also receive 23 Sysex patch banks that saved over the years from various VS keyboards & racks plus ROM & RAM cartridges (some patch sets may be duplicates, but many will be unique). Very easy to save and load these patch sets using sysex midi dump.
