   Up for your consideration

Bach trumpet valve section ML on 2nd casing serial number 63954
This may be vintage Bach Mercedes trumpet there is no bell so I cannot tell for sure.
I put modern Bach Strad valves in casings and they work fine the casings are round.
Also included Strad bottom caps they fit fine as well.
3rd slide moves freely 1st slide tubes have small dents see photos.

parts sitting around years in my storage bins I'm sure some tech can fit them as needed.
I know many old parts are not available any longer these may help out in your inventory.

    US. Mainland shipping only $15.00

During some research I found this on the Trumpet Herald when looking up Mercedes trumpets,
concerning build quality. On that page in the forum was quite a lot of information Mercedes model evolution.
For me this explains the all brass valve casings mentioned in the next to last line below. You can look it up if interested.

My old boss Doc Severinsen once told me that when he was in NYC, Vincent Bach was in MT. Vernon and Doc hung out there quite a bit. The story goes [as relayed to me by Doc] that the Mercedes was a horn that Vincent Bach made to have something to let guys play other than the Strad, and Bach was convinced that a smaller bore was what they really needed but didn't ever tell them that the Mercedes was exactly that, and so he let them try it without giving any details. It didn't have the nickle silver parts but was built to the same standards as the Strads were. I don't think Bach ever intended the Mercedes to be a student or second line horn. Of course that changed later on.
