If your vehicle is equipped with PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System), you will need to have your chipped keys re-programmed. This can only be done with proper hardware/software at a local locksmith or dealer. You need at least two working keys to finish installation of this module. Your vehicle will not start until you re-program two chipped keys.
If your vehicle is not equipped with PATS, this module will be plug and play.
