'461 Ocean Boulevard' was the second studio album from Eric Clapton. Originally released in 1974 the album followed on from the release of the single 'I Shot The Sheriff' which was a cover of Bob Marley and the Wailers and reached #9 in the UK singles chart. The album was Eric Clapton's return to the recording studio after a three-year break. The title of the album refers to the address on Ocean Boulevard in Golden Beach, Florida where Eric lived while recording the album.
