Vintage 1920s A W FABER Mentor 50/28 Pencil Pointer Pencil Sharpener.

The earliest version of this classic style of pointer (not the much later 50/58). Made in Germany in the 1920's, this handheld pointer accommodates two sizes of wood cased pencils. Made of solid brass with replaceable steel blades.

This measures about 1 3/16" across and about 1/2” deep. In excellent used condition (especially given its age).

There is something stuck on the back of the case, it seems like it will come off. I will leave that up to the new owner.
