Measurement Descriptions:

All measurements are done with the garment flat on a table. The fabric is not pulled or stretched during measurements. It is allowed to lay naturally. All measurements are taken with a flat ruler rather than a measuring tape.

Sleeve- This measurement is taken from the outside edge of the sleeve while lying face up. It Is measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve. I generally give an estimate of how much sleeve fabric is left to let out (see measurement disclaimer). Only the left sleeve is measured so there may be slight differences between the two.

Pit to Pit- This measurement is the width between one arm pit to the other measured at the seam. This measurement is indication of the chest size. This Is measured with the jacket laying face up.

Waist- This measurement is the width of the jacket at the top button (2nd button for 3 button jackets). This measurement is taken with the jacket lying face up and with the button buttoned. Keep in mind that this is the most “objective” measurement since the button can have movement inside the buttonhole. Also please note that this measurement may not be the narrowest part of the jacket due to differences in how jackets are cut.

Shoulder- This measurement is taken from one upper seam of the shoulder to the other. This measurement is taken with the jacket lying face down and does not include any fabric from the sleeves.

Length- This measurement is taken with the jacket lying face down. It is the measurement that runs from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the jacket.

General Disclaimer:

Please note that the colors and tones in the pictures may not be entirely accurate. It is likely that some of the pictures in the listing will show the colors slightly lighter or darker than they may appear in person. It is nearly impossible to portray the colors exactly as you will see them in person, but I try my best to do so. Also please note that it is the buyer’s responsibility to review the pictures, description, and measurements. I do my best to accurately describe each item and I provide detailed pictures. It is possible that a flaw or detail may get unintentionally missed in the description but is still shown in the pictures. If a flaw or detail is shown in the pictures OR listed in the description, this does not qualify for an “item not as described” return as you are responsible for reviewing the entire listing prior to your purchase. Any misuse of the “INAD” policy will be reported. If a major flaw is not mentioned in either the description or in the pictures, then you are covered within the “INAD” policy. Garments are non-returnable if the buyer has alterations done or if tags are removed from new items.

Measurement Disclaimer:

It is crucial for the buyer to read all measurements prior to purchase. There is often great variation in sizing between garments that are listed as the same size, even within the same brand. It is also possible that some articles of clothing have unknown alterations. I will always list the tag size (if the item has one), but the listed size may not accurately describe the actual size and fit of the garment. This makes it crucial to read and understand the listed measurements prior to your purchase. All measurements are quite accurate but may not be 100% perfect due to slight variations in fabric such as stretch. It is also important to note that measurements are done from the outside of the garment. This means that thicker materials such as tweeds may slightly increase the measurements and portray the garment as slightly larger than it is. Although I will give an estimate of how much fabric is left to let out in the sleeves, I cannot guarantee what condition said fabric is in. It Is generally sewn under lining and not made visible. Also, fabrics like cotton, linen, and tweeds may have a permeant line from where the sleeve fabric was sewn and pressed. This may become visible if you choose to lengthen the sleeves.

Shipping & Handling:

I ship with ship mostly with USPS but I can offer other shipping services upon request. My handling time can vary between 1 and 3 business days so please read the shipping and handling information prior to your purchase. I would love to have the ability to ship all orders the next day but that is often not possible. If you need something shipped ASAP, please message me PRIOR to your purchase so that I can let you know if I will be able to accommodate.

Preowned Clothing Disclaimer:

Virtually all articles of clothing in my store have been previously worn or used. It is unlikely that most of the articles of clothing were laundered prior to sale. Some articles of clothing may have been stored with fresheners or cedar products so it is possible that an item may arrive with a scent. Some articles of clothing, especially older and vintage items, may also have a scent such as perfume, cologne, or general age-related scents. Rest assured, no clothing will be sold with strong odors or smoke smell without that information clearly noted in the description. Most clothing is stored folded so items may arrive with wrinkles or non-permanent creases even if none are shown in the pictures. It is expected that the buyer properly launders each article of clothing before use. This may also include ironing and/or steaming.
