Nikon FM2n Black 35mm SLR Film Camera 

Circa.1980s

This is most desirable example of a Nikon FM2N, Black paintwork with the iconic honeycomb shutter which fires at up to 1/4000th second. 

This camera has been kept in very good condition and presents well, it has some ordinary signs of light use in the form of scratches to the paintwork, light dents to the bodywork and rubbing (Brassing) to the corners with a little of the brass underneath showing through. This is to be expected on an example which has had gentle use. 

The camera is in fully working order, it fires accurately on all speeds, film advance winds smoothly, light meter is accurate, self timer works, depth of field preview lever functions well, flash triggers work correctly. 

The viewfinder has a little dust and some spotting to viewfinder window which is very common on these models and does not detract from its funtionality. 

The camera has very recently had new foam seals fitted. 

These cameras are becoming very sought after and quickly appreciating in value.
