Each Hardback complete with their respective folded map at the back.

No Dustjackets - Hence low starting price.

  Condition: Overall, felt to be a Good conditioned 1960 Hardback Set of 3 TOLKIEN Lord of the Ring books published by Readers Union George Allen & Unwin Ltd, London, with only a little wear. No dustjackets. All 3 books in the set in a good readable condition and complete. Some handling wear/bruising to top and bottom edges of spine (please check photos of The Fellowship + Return of the King where there is a little extra bruising over the J.R.R.) and leading corners of cover boards (see photos). Fellowship of the Ring title page has a vertical tear between the 2 title pages but still attached to binding. Some foxing/dust marks to opening pages but pages inside all reasonably clean apart from some page aging and held together well by binding. etc.  An ink 'Name and Dec 1960' inscription on the inside of the cover in each book at the top. Felt to be an overall good conditioned readable copy for age (Please see photos to help with description). I hoped someone would enjoy reading and having in their collection.
