Built up roofing catalog (1970)
 

Out-of-print, hard-to-find 8 1/2" x 11" paper catalog, 40 pages from the Celotex Corporation a subsidiary of Jim Walter Corporation, Tampa FL.  Catalog is dated 1970 on the cover. Note Barrett was acquired by Jim Walter in 1967 and merged into Celotex. The Celotex Corporation was founded in 1920 in Chicago, Illinois as a subsidiary of Philip Carey.

Asbestos ReferenceS:

Series 400 Built-up roofing specifications and illustrations indicate the use of asbestos as felts, specifically No. 43 asbestos base sheet and No. 15 asphalt asbestos felt.

Flashing systems utilized; Elastigum roof cement that was a high quality asphalt roof cement containing asbestos fibers; AB-20 flashing sheet constructed from a glass-fiber-reinforced asbestos felt; and No. 15 asbestos felt.

Book Condition:
The catalog is in GOOD condition!!  The pages have some lite browning due to age.   It's still a useful booklet with plenty of life left in it!!
