1975 Cadillac 8-Track Tape. Pro serviced!
This tape has been professionally restored by Hector P. of
Vancouver, WA (well known in the 8-track community since the Nixon
Administration!) The tape has been evaluated and pads, splice and sensing foil
have been replaced as needed. Hector does a magnificent job, and can often get
inside of cases and make repairs without leaving a trace. Message me if you’d
like his contact info.
The tape is sold as-pictured. Pictures are part of the
description. ALL my 8-tracks—sealed, restored, or used are sold strictly as
“As-Is” collector’s/display items. Given the wild variation in build quality,
cleanliness and maintenance of 50-60 year old players, there is simply no way
to guarantee that a given 8-track will play perfectly on any machine a buyer
chooses to pop it into. This pre-resolves any “was it a bad tape or a bad
player” question that is impossible to resolve long distance. Since it’s been
serviced, It will likely play fine for you. If so, consider it a bonus. Since
8-tracks are notoriously quirky and unreliable, Note that just about every tape
listed on eBay is sold under similar terms and restrictions.
I’m happy to combine shipping. Just put all the tapes you
want in your cart and order. If eBay charges you more than the actual cost of
the label, I’ll refund the difference.
If you spend over $35 on 8-tracks, I’ll refund ALL the
shipping on US orders covered by USPS Media Mail. No need to even ask. I make
the refund when I print the label. I sell a great many tapes overseas, and am
well aware how expensive shipping is. Sorry—there’s not a thing I can do about
it-- except to reimburse over-$35 orders the amount eBay paid me to get the
package to their international hub-- $3.91 per tape, at this writing.
Happy Collecting!
