Very uncommon and highly sought after pancake-style lens by Chinon. I was told that this lens was a direct copy of the Zeiss Tessar 45mm but I have NOT been able to independently confirm that.
In any event, it's in excellent condition with clean clear glass, smooth MANUAL focus, and snappy, oil-free iris.
Very mild paint l;oss around the edges of the focus barrel and aperture control ring.
I do note a little "play" in the front section of the lens but it doesn't seem to affect anything.
I tested it on a Pentax DSLR and excellent images were obtained.
Comes with front and rear caps.
