The Yamaha PSR-220 is a synth that always seems to get great reviews. Its a great synth for beginners!
Here are the basics:
Arranger keyboard 5 octaves, 61 keys with dynamics and lower split
12 channels polyphonic minimum
100 tones including a drum kit diffrent rpart on 61 keys
100 rhythm and accompaniment styles DIFFERENT
4 modes of accompaniments diffrent: normal, one fingered hand, two hands fingered, single finger
Button “Large / Small”: 2 types of orchestration: bass (Small) or bass + chord (Large)
Dual function = possibility to play two sounds at the same time is 100 x 100 = 10,000 possible combinations
= Split function divides the keyboard into two sounds sparemment play 2 or 100 x 100 = 10,000 possible combinations
Split function + dual = 100 x 100 x 100 = 1,000,000 possible combinations
