Four volume history of Abraham Lincoln
This is a set of all four well-bound volumes of Carl Sandburg's award-winning biography of United States President Abraham Lincoln.
All four books are in very good condition with cloth over board covers, flawless spines and very few, if any, signs they have ever been read. Pages are clean and there is no writing or ownership signs. There are no creases that we could find, no bent pages or bumped corners. No dust jackets as issued.
Only major flaw is a lighter-colored smudge on the cover of Volume 1 (see 16 photos below).
Carl Sandburg was an American poet, journalist and editor. He won three Pulitzer Prizes during his long career -- two for poetry and one for this 4-volume biography of Abraham Lincoln.
Each of the hardcover books is 6 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches, roughly the size as a retail hardcover book.
