The debut solo LP from former Five Stairsteps member Keni Burke - filled with bass-propelled funk and R&B magic from the summer of '77! Originally released only on vinyl on Beatle George Harrison's Dark Horse imprint, selling very few copies in the scheme of things and subsequently becoming a true Rare Groove. It is a phenomenal album, way ahead of it's time. Then in 2013 a supposedly kosher label sprung up, Solaris, in the States releasing a handful of very rare Soul, Funk and Jazz Funk titles for the first time on CD, including this, before going bust after about 18 months.
Produced in Poland, this is a bulk-standard promo copy CDr, silver NOT green/red/blue type, superb condition (perhaps a minescule surface paper mark), even if the artwork is obviously promo-department produced (although very good) and comes in a thin plastic slip-sleeve! Both label and libretto read "Promotion Use Only - Not For Sale". But the music content is absolutely top quality, total digital wondrousness - check YouTube for some examples of the content, breathtaking!
