Originally c.1884, this is the 1912 Grosset & Dunlap edition, probably printed in the 1920s or 1930s.  Decorated end pages in orange and cream.  Contains 424 numbered pages, followed by a few pages of publisher's catalog.  Original full-color dust jacket.  Illustrated with black-and-white line drawings at chapter headings.

This antique brown hardcover is in very good condition with no scribblings, markings or owner's names.  Spine and binding are complete and all pages are secure. Book is generally clean with no loose pages.  Some minor edge and corner wear to cover boards only.  Colorful dust jacket is in good-minus condition, with nicks and short rips and is not price-clipped [$.75].   Very attractive book and displays nicely.
