Ownership History: This comic is from my own personal collection. I bought it new for 40¢ as a teenager in 1980, probably from the Silver Snail in Toronto. In other words, I've owned this comic for more than 40 years.

The reason that I'm selling is that I just turned 60-years-old and realized that I hadn't touched most of my collection in over 10 years. So, I decided it's time to part ways and let someone else enjoy that might appreciate more than me. In the past few months, I've catalogued my collection of 2,500-3,000 comics, found typical sale prices on eBay, and sent 200 or so to CGC for grading (which is why all the certificate numbers are less than a year old). I've been on eBay for more than 25 years — mostly as a buyer, sometimes as a seller — so now I'm going to be mostly a seller for the next few months.

I don't work for a comic book store and I'm not an online reseller. I'm a scientist working in Albuquerque who's close to retirement. That's why I only have time to list 3-4 comics per day and I know that means it's going to take me months to sell my collection. But it also means that I'm not selling to make a quick buck — if no one bids above my starting bid, then I'll just put it back in storage and relist in a month or two.
