All mechanical parts sold by GoodState Spare Parts come with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. You are entitled to a refund or replacement provided goods are deemed (by GoodState Spare Parts) to be faulty.
All electrical parts and components sold by GoodState Spare Parts come with 30 days warranty from the date of delivery. You are entitled to a refund or replacement provided goods are deemed to be faulty by GoodState Spare Parts.
In order to be eligible for claims under warranty, all mechanical and electrical parts should be installed by a licensed motor vehicle mechanic/ repairer/ electrician/ cooling system specialist/ transmission specialist.
We require a report from a licensed motor vehicle mechanic/ repairer/ electrician/ cooling system specialist/ transmission specialist confirming the part is faulty.
This report should include:
- The part installation date.
- Acknowledgment that the part was installed according to the manufacturer instructions and manuals (including a step-by-step recount of how the part was installed and what kind of scan checks were run. Copies of scan checks need to be attached.
- A statement concluding the part is faulty.
This report should be signed and have a license number included.
This report along with the goods are to be sent to GoodState Spare Parts for further warranty procedures.
Our warranty does not cover any labour costs, loss of profit, consequential loss or damage, towing or freight expenses, or any other losses or expenses associated with the faulty product(s). Any repairs or work carried out on items purchased without our written consent are the customer's sole responsibility.
A warranty will be considered void if a part is dismantled, tampered with, used in modified vehicles, performance or race competitions, or off-road.
Our warranty does not cover any claim that is caused by any of the following: incorrect or insufficient fluids or oils, overheating or removed heat tab, improper item installation or application, accident damage, overloading or misuse, unauthorized installation or repairs, or failing to properly maintain the item.
