So this is something that’s a little hard to let go but life goes on.

Up for grabs is a first generation Halios Laguna. Uses the ETA movement, not like later versions which used the Miyota 90XX series, I believe.

This is a chunky boy. Tall. Wide. Thicc, I dare say. The antimagnetic casing adds even more heft.

Owned it since new which was around this time in 2011, I even found the email from Jason that he sent me to check in when he saw it was delivered! That’s why we love micro brands, right?

It was my daily watch when I had my blue collar job and it handled it superbly. Everything is all original, and it shows. No service done on the watch but keeps good time. I don’t sweat the +\- per day on automatics since a radio controlled G-Shock or Citizen keeps better time.

No wooden box, bracket, isofrane strap (which wore out really quickly if I recall), etc, just the watch head. It’s been over a decade and a couple of houses later so things get lost in the shuffle.

The crystal isn’t perfect but the very small marks are extremely hard to notice in daily use. You need a bright light and some very specific angles to get see them.

I hope this goes to a good home with someone who will enjoy it as much as I did.
