Only 20,000 copies of the first edition were printed, with there being two different variations of the binding - one had the dancing lady silhouette, and the other was with plain front cover. This edition with plain front cover is regarded as the more rare of the two variations, and less copies were printed in this format of the binding.

The dust jacket is a first impression dust jacket, stating 13s 6d.

Bound in yellow/ mustard hardback binding with black lettering to the spine.

Dimensions of 7.8" (19.8cm) x 5"(12.7cm) x 1.2" (3.8cm) thick - it weighs 500g unpacked.

The book is in very good condition for age. Not perfect as photos show browning to front and rear pages. But book reads extremely well.

Please see additional news clipping glued from the original newspaper of the day Ian Fleming died. Cool little inclusion, pen is written on the clipping of the day this was, Aug 14 1964

Dust jacket has bumps and small tears as shown, holes in dust jacket near spine, blemishes are light discolouration to back of dust jacket
