Les Voyages Extraordinaires: Les Tribulations d'un Chinois en Chine by Jules Verne (Tribulations of a Chinaman in China)

I believe this to be the 1st Edition published by J. Hetzel et cie, 18 rue Jacob, Paris.  It is not dated on the title page, but the back of the book does have advertising dated 1878-1880.  The book is profusely illustrated with black & white illustrations.

The book is in overall good condition.  The top of the spine must have had some repair work done to it long ago, because there is evidence of glue covering some cracks.  The endsheets of the book are blue.  The corners have some wear and fraying.  The frontispiece is protected by an intact piece of tissue paper, but the tissue paper has a small closed tip at the top near the spine. Pages are clean and in very good condition.  A couple of pages in the advertising section at the back of the book have some marking in pencil.  Book has gilted text and design on the front cover and spine (although the gilt on the spine has faded), and the pages have gilted foreedges.

Book has 203 numbered pages as well as an 8-page advertising section in the back.  The book is in French. 

Measures approximately 10-3/4" x 7-3/8" x 3/4".
