An original World War Two German Army - Deutsches Heer - DH - wristwatch made by Buren, Switzerland.

Buren received contracts from both the German and British armies to supply watches for their armed forces.

This watch was issued as part of the German army contract but this is a very similar watch to the British Army 'Dirty Dozen' watches also suppled to them by Buren.

This watch would have been issued mid war - 1942 or 1943.

The reverse of the watch is DH numbered and the watch has a Buren 410 movement.

The movement is marked:

BUREN - 10 1/2 CAL - 410

The inside of the screw back is marked:

BREVET
DEMANDE
FONDCIER

and numbered.

The watch includes a later black leather strap.

The watch is in good condition with most of the original silver finish remaining with no loss of the lumen to the face or hands.

Some light marks to the back of the watch - please see photos for overall condition.

The watch is running well although it may require servicing.
