This is an extremely rare original German P38 Tan Brown Leather Holster.  It is a must-have for serious collectors. It is an excellent addition to any collection of personal field gear from the era. The holster is in great shape and has not been reproduced, making it a valuable original item.

As you can see in the pictures, this holster was captured by the Russians and modified for use with a Tokarev pistol.  It is what it is as they say.  I bought the holster as you see it.  With some quick work, you could make it look even better by using a needle to poke the threads through the side of the holster.  It would look nearly unaltered from the front and rear with the lid closed.

I would venture to guess that about 1% of jwa holsters produced were brown leather.  In all my years of collecting, I have seen less than 5.  I am only selling because I was fortunate enough to obtain a beautiful example.  This holster, unaltered, would be big money on a dealers site.  I know I am asking a lot, but you can't find these!  Please ask any questions you may have before purchase.  Sold as is.  Thanks for looking and please check my other items!
