Red Wing Pottery was the first stoneware company formed in Red Wing, Minnesota in 1877 at the sharpest navigable bend in the Mississippi River. Our country needed crocks, jugs, sewer pipe and Goodhue County had the clay deposits and an immigrant workforce to produce millions of pieces of functional stoneware. The company revived and restored the iconic brands in 2019 to produce high quality pottery.
