Vintage Kodak EK6 Instant Camera & Flash with Original Box UNTESTED.

The camera is in excellent condition but it is untested. The batteries inside are probably not usable. It comes with half a bank of flashes, the other half has been used.

The EK6 used Kodak’s PR-10 instant film which still can be found, and this film is said to have turned out a finished picture that looked better than the Polaroid SX-70 equivalent. The camera has an f/1:12.8 100mm fixed focus lens. The shutter was capable of speeds up to 1/300 of a second. Other features are the built in flash, optical viewfinder, carry strap, and a ¼ inch 20 thread tripod socket. The camera needs two 6 volt SIZE J batteries that were held in the film compartment above the film slot and a test button with a red LED was located in the back top of the camera.

The Kodak EK6 was produced in 1976 by Kodak.

This Kodak camera has a legal story behind it. After Kodak developed instant cameras Polaroid decided to sue Kodak and won. Kodak was required to give a refund to all their customers who were to send the nameplate back.

It uses Kodak PR10 / PR144 instant film and is powered by two 6v J / 4LR61 batteries.

The camera is in fantastic condition with only tiny signs of use. The view finder is bright and clear. The lenses have no signs of scratches, scrapes or show any signs of cloudiness.
