is a green-painted Tiger I tank. This very early production vehicle served in the 1st Company of the 501st Heavy Armored Battalion, which fought in Tunisia in 1942-43. When the 501st Heavy Armored Battalion was dispatched to North Africa in November 1942, some Tiger I tanks were sprayed with olive green paint to adapt to the warmer climate along the Tunisian coast.
