From the Back Cover: Duwan the warrior - Duwan had been foremost of the Drinker warriors in training, destined in time to become the leader of all the valley's warriors. Then an accident had claimed his arm, leaving him unfit to lead. With no other choice, Duwan turned to Drinker legends for hope, legends of a lost homeland to the south, where the sun was so strong, the soil so rich, that a Sundrinker could regenerate a lost limb.

And so Duwan left the valley, seeking this fabled paradise. But what he found was the Enemy, the dominant less evolved form of his species called the Devourers, who lived by preying upon other life forms. The Devourers, who, ages ago, had driven the Drinkers from their homeland, intent on their total destruction. Yet to Duwan's horror, he found Drinkers too, Drinkers enslaved by cruel Devoourer overlords! And suddenly Duwan understood why his destiny had brought him here - to lead his people to freedom!

Condition: Binding - very good, minor edgewear, inside of covers very slightly browned, top page edges rubbed, light front cover hinge crease, not other reading creases. Dust Jacket - none, as issued.

Shipping and Packing: General Information:

We always ship in sturdy new boxes with premium heavy duty packing tape, bubblewrap and filler to keep the item(s) away from the sides of the box. The pictures below show the boxes that we use for shipping.

When customs forms are required for a shipment, we fill them out honestly, stating that the contents are merchandise and giving the price you paid for the item (not including the shipping) as the value. Please do not ask us to do otherwise. Take any customs duty that you will have to pay into consideration before making your purchase.

Please note that many countries have restrictions on the import of certain goods and sometimes on the maximum value that can be shipped to the country by various shipping methods. Priority Mail International insurance cannot be purchased for all countries and some limit the amount of insurance that can be purchased (default indemnity coverage seems to apply to all countries).
