Melting Crucible is mostly used for melting precious metals nonferrous metals.

Crucible Capacity is 40 T.oz./1200 Grams, made of clay bonded high grade fused silica, long lasting withstands temperatures up to 2500°F / 1371°C. 

Crucible can be used with a gas melting furnace or torch melting. A quality crucible, made of High Grade Fused Silica, extending the life of usage of the Crucible.  Crucible for melting scrap metals, can be used for Casting and to make Ingots as well.

Crucibles should be glazed with Borax prior to use, which also helps to extend the life of the crucible.

*Protective Clothing, heat gloves and eye protection must be worn when melting metals.  WORK SAFE  *Safety factors must always be the Priority.
