1994 SCHWINN HIGH TIMBER SS

This bike has been tuned by a professional mechanic and is ready to ride! 

One step down from the Paramount MTB in 1994, the High Timber SS is a workhorse of a bike and surprisingly light.  The frame is made from Schwinn Steel Oversized Tubing providing all of the advantages of a steel bike, plus a better ride feel than many of todays aluminum models while maintaining a similar weight.

Our mechanic built this bike around the growing movement of riders using vintage MTBs as commuter bikes. He replaced the shock fork with a rigid fork allowing a front rack and fenders to be mounted. He did a full tune up and all parts should be running their best. He also updated the bike with a new chain and cassette, new shifters, new more upright stem for a more comfortable ride, as well as new cables and housing.
