HENRY

8" x 22" original daily newspaper comic strip art from 7/19/1974

 Art by John Liney

John J. Liney (1912 – January 29, 1982) was an American cartoonist who drew the daily Henry comic strip for 44 years. Henry is a comic strip created in 1932 by Carl Thomas Anderson. The title character is a young bald boy who is mostly mute in the comics (and sometimes drawn minus a mouth).

The strip is complete and in FINE condition with some overall wear. The Zipatone has yellowed, otherwise the art is in EXCELLENT condition. Signed by John Liney in the third panel.
