This "Mystery," although modern in origin, is based upon the idea of an old XV Century Scriptual Play, these were written for the Church, and acted in the Choir or Chancel, with the characters occasionally appearing in the aisles. The Church then is the proper setting for this play, although it may be easily adapted for use in school or hall.
