To Catch a King : Charles II's Great Escape

Charles, eldest son of King Charles I was heavily defeated by Cromwell's armies at the Battle of Worcester when he returned to England to try to claim the throne after the execution of his father.  
This account tells how he managed to avoid his pursuers and escape before eventually he was restored to the throne as Charles II.

Near fine / very good.  No marks or inscriptions.  A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, crease to upper corner of front end paper and no bumping to corners.  Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn with crease to lower front edge and very minor traces of storage.
