A lovely example of this legendary 1970's professional SLR camera, in good working order apart from the exposure meter.

Normally, these cameras show significant wear from professional use, however this example is in excellent overall condition showing only a few marks and dings from 45 years use.  Please see the photos for an accurate representation of the condition.

Checked and all body functions run as they should - focussing, film transport, self timer, mirror lock and the shutter checked visually runs at expected speeds including long exposures.

The 50mm lens is clear and bright, with slight fungus at the edge of the front element as shown.  This will have no effect on the results.  Focussing runs smoothly, and the aperture snaps open / closed as it should.

Faults:  

Body - The exposure meter works only intermittently and therefore cannot be checked for accuracy. A service may correct the fault, but cannot be confirmed.  

Lens - As mentioned above, the lens has minor fungus to the edge of the front element, and also a minor dent to the filter ring as shown. These will not affect lens performance.

Overall, a very good example of this classic Nikon camera, ready to shoot more excellent results.  

Would benefit from a meter service, or ideal for use with a hand held meter.
