In the race, Max Verstappen won a spectacular duel with title rival Sir Lewis Hamilton at the Circuit of the Americas. Red Bull gained ground on rivals Mercedes thanks to Perez's podium finish and the championship leader extending his lead to 12 points.

On 8th October 2023, Max claimed his third F1 World Championship at the Qatar Grand Prix, after another record breaking season so far in 2023.

The model features Max's Red Bull-Honda RB16B as it raced to victory at the 2021 United States Grand Prix.  It is a CK Modelcars and Paddock Legends exclusive to the two German model retailers and is limited to just 500 pieces worldwide.  It comes with the yellow banded medium tyres on the car with which he started the grand prix before switching to the white hard tyre compound. 

The model and box are both in brand new condition.
