This is a rare Lionel production mold test run that was shot in clear plastic to see mold and dye imperfections. These are extremely rare and never come up for sale. This clear shell caboose was obtained from world renowned Lionel train collector Dr. Woodell. This caboose is a must-have for any model railroad enthusiast. This caboose has a broken smokestack, coupler, and broken off side steps and a few cracks and chips. The rarity trumps the condition. There are only a few of these known to exist.
