Selling my lightly used Canon T4i DSLR with less than 7000 shutter actuations. I am the original owner. Shutter count reading shown is from the highly recommended Magic Lantern firmware I put on my SD card to give the camera many more features than stock. You can download and install this from their website for free.
Camera takes great pics and FHD video. The T4i was a trailblazing model from Canon introducing new technologies like Live View, swing out monitors, touch screens and all-cross type AF sensors. A complete set of photographic controls (e.g. mirror lock up, depth-of-field preview etc.) and options make this an excellent tool for photography students. This camera has an 18 MP APS-C sensor and uses the versatile EF-S lens mount.
The camera has normal cosmetic blemishes from light use but functions perfectly. The LCD screen artifacts in the picture are from the screen protector that I have always used on the camera. You can replace as desired.
The camera comes with a Vello vertical grip (clone of one that Canon made) which I have not removed from the camera since I bought it. It makes this hobbyist camera behave like a Canon pro body with vertical control buttons amd shutter release. It gives great field runtime via dual Li-Ion batteries or 6xAA batteries. Both Li-Ion and AA battery holders are included. To install this grip, the original battery cover of the camera had to be dettached.
I am including a former top-of-the-line Canon 550EX flash that I bought used. All functions on this flash still work but the LCD screen is darkening from age and the backlight is not strong enough to brighten the screen anymore in the dark. Flash battery contacts have no corrosion but battery door has slight cutout made by the former owner to insert the cord of an AC adapter (not included). You can even do balanced/ratio wireless TTL flash with this and the camera's built-in pop-up flash.
Camera will come with original Canon charger, 1 original battery and 1 aftermarket one, body cap, camera manual, reprinted flash manual and original canon strap. I will try to include any accessories that I can find from storage but no guarantees.
