I purchased this gorgeous New Look halter neck top in the mid 2000’s, UK size 14, please see measurements.

This top has hardly been worn, still in excellent like new condition.

Gorgeously striking floral, almost geometric, multicolour sheer chiffon type fabric consisting of lovely varying shades of blue, green, purple, red, yellow, orange and black. The tie halter neck creates a V shaped front, the bust cups are lined and can be gathered slightly along the neck tie, they also have slight gathering at the side to give a gathered look across the bust cups, please see photos. Also has a fixed crossover front that hangs from the bust and creates almost a v at the centre front waistline, softly fluted hem, overall giving a flattering floaty look. The back has an elasticated section across/below the shoulder blades. The fabric is sheer but because of the double fabric at the front and the deep colours isn’t obviously see through, bust lined in a black soft feel polyester, not at all see through. Has a lovely light feel, very comfortable and easy to wear.

Machine washable at 40 degrees. 100% polyester.

This top is perfect for the spring, summer and autumn seasons, has bags of effortless style and sophistication, and being Y2K vintage adds a touch of nostalgia, will be sad to see it go but pointless it sitting in a drawer and not being enjoyed.

Underarm around the body to underarm 76cm or 30 inches (un-stretched)

From top of elasticated back section to hem approximately 52cm or 20.5 inches

Side seam from top of elastic underarm to hem approximately 52cm or 20.5 inches

This garment is clean but has not been worn since mid 2000’s so you may want to refresh before wearing.
