Here we have this fantastic antique book ‘The History of England from the Earliest Period to the Present Time’ by Miss Corner. This small book I cannot be clear on a publication date. Someone has dedicated inside the cover of the book in Easter 1860, however the chronological list of dates in the back goes up to 1851, so it was published between these years by Dean & Son of London. The book itself is in good shape, but it clearly has some sun fading to the front cover and the spine (visible in pictures). There is also some minor cornerwear and wear to the spine. Some of the pages corners have folded in on themselves too, but the book itself is completely readable. This was bought from Blists Hill Victorian Village (Ironbridge) in 2023.
