Testing: I used a 28-80 EOS and a 18-50 EOS lens to test when I found the battery (after initial listing.) Camera boots, will format CF card (2GB tested) and will fire the shutter and take a picture without a lens. Initially with a lens on the green box setting (easy mode) the camera showed ERR 01. I was able to clean the contacts of the lens and the camera body and the error is gone using either lens. I ran out of time to fully test the AF, but it appears to not be functioning. I included a new pic of the menu and a sample image.
All EOS lenses are switchable to Manual Focus, and that worked well for this camera body. This camera would be perfect with an 'FD' adapter using older Canon FD lenses. (LINK to the most expensive one I found, most are $5-$20 - https://www.kentfaith.com/KF06.082_canon-fd-to-canon-eos-mount-adapter)
